Chairman of the Council of the Church of East Asia (CCEA)


Appointment as CCEA Chairman

The Council of the Church of East Asia (CCEA) has, at its Full Assembly on 13th October 2024, appointed our Diocesan Bishop, Archbishop Dr Titus Chung, as Chairman of CCEA. His appointment takes effect on 14th October 2024.

CCEA is a fellowship network of the Anglican churches in East Asia. Members of CCEA include Archbishops, Bishops, Assistant Bishops, Clergy, and Lay people from the Anglican churches in South East Asia, Myanmar, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, the Philippines and Taiwan as well as representatives from the two associate members of CCEA: the Anglican Church of Australia and the Philippine Independent Church, which is in full communion with the Anglican Communion. The Council conducts its Full Assembly once every four years to elect its Executive Committee.
