Diocesan Certificate of Biblical Studies


The Biblical Studies Programme enables participants to systematically study, book by book, all 66 books of the Bible. This programme aims to increase Bible literacy to participants, to help them know the contents of the Bible to apply God’s Word to life.

 

Each module comprises an average of nine lectures / tutorials, conducted on Thursday evenings, 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm.

 

Two modules are conducted concurrently in a term: one each from the Old and New Testaments. You may only sign up for one module each term.

 

You can join the programme at any time.

 

Participants may choose their modules in any order. We recommend that all first-time participants also attend Module 1 (A and B) when it is offered at the start of each year, to receive a background overview of the Bible.

 

Term 3:

Old Testament: Module 6: The Writings 1 (Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Job)

New Testament: Module 13: Non Pauline Epistles (Hebrews to Jude)

Dates: 7, 14, 21, 28 July, 4, 11, 18, 25 August, 1 September 2022
