St George's Church

Sgc Text And Logo Upscaled

Along Dempsey Hill, an enclave for innovative dining and concept stores, stands a distinct red bricked church – the place of worship for St George’s Church.

Founded as a garrison church, St George’s Church was converted to a civilian church after the departure of British troops, and subsequently became a Parish of the Diocese of Singapore in 1973. Today, St George’s Church is a community of believers from Singapore and all over the world.

Did you know? St George’s Church was the first church in Singapore to offer the Alpha course in 1993, and till today they still continue their outreach to the community through Alpha and other initiatives.
