By covering a chapter of the Book of Philippians each Saturday, Dr. Tan will draw out the salient points of Paul’s teaching to the Church of Philippi and how they apply to our lives today. How do we find meaning in all that we do despite the challenging times as we transition out of the pandemic? Are we still able to remain joyful amidst these challenges? These and other principles of Christian living will be uncovered for our learning in this precious Letter to the Philippians.
Course instructor’s profile
Dr. Tan Kim Huat is the Chen Su Lan Professor of New Testament at Trinity Theological College, Singapore. Dr. Tan has a strong interest in strengthening theological education in the region. As a result, he has been involved in the work of the first-ever regional consortium of colleges, which goes by the name of ATESEA (Association for Theological Education in South East Asia). He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of this association.
