St Andrew's Community Chapel

St Andrew’s Community Chapel (SACC) was birthed in 2000 from two church plants – Simei Christian Centre from St Andrew’s Cathedral and All Saints’ Church Pasir Ris Extension. In 2003, St Andrew's Community Chapel (SACC) attained her parish status.

Since her inception, the church leadership was intentional to combine ministries such as children and youth across the English and Mandarin

congregations. This has resulted in members between the two congregations sharing close bonds.

Today, SACC has a total of 4 services across both congregations and they continue to reach out the residents in Simei and Tampines.

Prayer Pointers for St. Andrew's Community Chapel

1) Unity of leaders, members, and congregations

Pray for the unity of the leaders and members from both the Chinese and English congregations to move towards the same goal together.

2) Discipling of members

Pray for the church discipleship among members, that they may be fervent for the Lord

3) Community outreach at Tampines Mart

As part of the church’s Community Outreach, SACC rented a place at Tampines Mart, “The Friend Space”, to reach out to the residents in the vicinity. Let us pray for the church as they reach out to the community in Tampines.

4) Church plant at Battambang, Cambodia

SACC has been partnering a church in Pursat, Cambodia for around 20 years. Moving forward, they hope to establish a new church plant in Battambang. Let us pray that the Lord will provide the resources SACC needs.

5) Manpower recruitment and renewal

Please pray for successful recruitment of manpower to support SACC’s Administration, Pastoral and Chaplaincy work, and Befrienders ministry in SACH.
